Diabetes Support for Pediatrics

The Southern New Mexico Diabetes Outreach facilitates a bi-weekly support group meeting for pediatrics with diabetes and their families. This free program includes engaging discussions, activities, games, and occasional guest speakers or field trips. The support group is guided by a diabetes educator and focused on creating a safe, supportive, and informative environment for families to share experiences and manage their child’s condition. Pediatrics with type 1, type 2, or prediabetes are welcomed to attend with their parent or guardian. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays by Bianca Paulette.
